SEW is a software company providing digital services to simplify the lives of utility companies and it’s customers. Since the services provided are so vast, the old website became cluttered with information with a complicated workflow. The primary goal was to increase visitation, help potential clients find information fast, and get connected. The message will have to be simplified while still communicating all of the possible solutions available.
Our team of designers focused on simplifying the data by utilizing space and imagery to create an impactful experience. The primary user will be an office professional ages 30 to 65 with basic to experienced technical knowledge. Our goal for the home screen was to bring the most important information forward, this consists of solutions for the needs of the utilities. In addition, the utilization of the companies new fonts and colors created a cohesive look throughout. The homepage was the first step in discovering the overall design of the site and was continued on to all other pages. Other credited designers include Alex Faulkner, Sean Kai, Tyrone Cook, and Michael Klein (Video).
